My husband and I recently went through a difficult time after my mother died of cancer. We had two homes to sell; the one she had been living in, which was her dream home, and her previous home that was being rented in another county in Washington State.   We live several thousand miles away, so we needed a responsible realtor we could trust. My mother already had a realtor for her rental house, but we wanted someone local to Kittitas County for her primary residence. Our estate lawyer recommended Sandy Senger.We immediately felt very comfortable with Sandy when we met her.  Her advice on getting the house ready to sell as well as her experience of the local Real Estate market in Kittitas County was very valuable. We signed the paperwork and handed over the keys to Sandy on Labor Day, September 2011, then started back home, leaving Mom’s dream home in Sandy’s capable hands. In today’s depressed market, we were very fortunate to get a qualified buyer in a little over a month. We ran into a few snags when the house was inspected, and there were repairs to be made.  Sandy’s experience with local contractors helped get bids for the work. With us physically out of state, everything had to be handled by phone and email. Sandy kept us informed on every step of the repairs, and we never had to wonder what was going on. She was patient with our questions and offered advice when we asked. We had to nag the other realtor for information, and always had to push for status reports. The difference in how the two realtors handled the sale of the two houses was extreme. My husband and I highly recommend Sandy Senger for her integrity, practical experience, and responsible business ethics.   Selling a house in today’s market is not easy. Doing it from out of state is even more difficult.  Sandy helped us quickly and successfully market my mother’s home after her death.   Her friendly, positive approach to the whole process was refreshing.
