Last December, I began thinking about the possibility of buying a home in the Tulsa area. I have family living in Owasso and Collinsville and thought it would be wonderful to be close to them. We are originally from New Orleans, survived Katrina, and thought moving from Louisiana to Oklahoma would take several years to plan. However, we found Colin in early spring, toured his homes, chose a plan, and broke ground in Tyler Crossing in June. By October, our furniture arrived from Louisiana! With the help of my dear friend Charlotte (who lives in Collinsville), Colin and I worked on this project via phone and email.  I came in only a few times to decide on floors, appliances, and lighting. He would send me pictures as each stage progressed to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I cannot imagine a builder who could be more involved or concerned with every detail as Colin has been on our home. My daughter and I are still unpacking, but we are thrilled to be living in Collinsville. Our home is magnificent and is truly more than we imagined. We would like to thank the Winkley Homes team for our dream home.  We found our home during the 2010 Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes.  From the moment we walked into the model home we could tell immediately that the quality, design and craftsmanship of the Winkley Home far exceeded that of the other homes we had toured.  Despite both of us knowing deep down that we had just found our dream house, we continued on the Parade of Homes and toured many, many, many more houses…but not one of them (even the higher priced ones) compared to the Winkley Home.  It was very obvious that Colin Winkley cares about and takes great pride in the homes he builds. But quality was not the only thing that stood out above the rest.  The customer service of the Winkley Homes team was truly outstanding.  Through the entire process Colin Winkley and Trista Sandin were available to us at any time for questions, concerns, advice for first time homebuyers, etc.  They made us feel like friends and not just customers.  Even after closing, Colin and Trista have helped us navigate through various new homeowner hurdles such as fence installation, lawn maintenance, etc.  They have truly gone above and beyond and we honestly don’t know what we would have done without their help. Needless to say, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our home and are so grateful to Colin and Trista for all they have done.  Thank you for helping make our dream come true.

Impressive Quality Of Workmanship

Jay and I wanted to tell you how much we appreciate all of the time and effort you put into building our new home.  Every day we notice more and more of the unique details of our home and we couldn’t be more pleased with the end result.  The quality of the workmanship, especially with the trim and tile, is very impressive and the master shower turned out better than we could have ever imagined.   We were so impressed with the fact that you were always available to answer any questions and concerns we had or even just for updates.  Being able to communicate with you via phone, email, and text was a definite plus for us.    You were very flexible about all of the changes and adjustments we made along the way  and your helpful suggestions were very valued.  Even with all of adjustments and the horrible weather this winter, the house was still finished in the allotted time frame.  What an added bonus!   Thank you again for building us such a wonderful home to raise our family in and for being so easy to work with.
